Kewei Sun studied for his PhD in our group from 2013-2018, with research interests in precision synthesis of carbon-based nanostructures and scanning tunneling microscopy, and is currently undertaking postdoctoral work at the National Institute for Materials Research (NIMS) in Japan. The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Special Researcher Fund for Foreigners, which is used to support overseas researchers conducting postdoctoral research in Japan, has an acceptance rate of less than 10%. Congratulations again to Dr Kewei Sun for being awarded the JSPS Special Research Fellowship!
